Frequently Asked Questions

Will you write something personal for me?
It depends what it is! But so long as it's legal and decent we will write anything you will pay for!

Do you create adverts?
We can certainly write advertising copy and through our contacts can also put you in touch with Art Directors and Designers.

Do you create websites?
We can write the content for you and can put you in touch with website designers we know.

Will you write a press release?
Yes, so long as we have background information or research, we can write press-releases.

Do you write proposals?
Yes, we can, but we do not normally complete RFPs or Tender Documents on behalf of clients. We have enough of our own... However, telephone Lisa for a discussion if you are not sure whether we might be right for the task.

Can I meet the writer of my work?
If you/we think it's necessary, then yes. But most of the time, the briefing process doesn't require it. We have also found that clients are more honest in their assessment of the work if the writer is not present.

Do I own the copyright?
So long as you pay the quoted price for the work, the copyright to use it is yours - even if it's a world-beating slogan that our writer creates for you. But then, you would be paying a world-beating slogan price...

How quickly do you work?
Most of our writers are commercial writers used to working to tight publication deadlines. However, writing is not like painting a wall. The best creative work can be extremely quick, but that's not always the case. If we think a deadline is reasonable we will accept the brief. If we think it unreasonable, we'll tell you why.

"Writing is like prostitution. First you do it for love and then for a few close friends, and then for money." Moliere
